New Functionality: Register and comment!
94 Spirits Fan,
Things are taking shape. I’ve made a change or two in the functionality of this blog. Most notably, I’ve made it so that anyone can register (click “Register”, over there, to the right) and comment on any post. But, I took away the ability for most registered users to post new topics. This is actually an improvement. Reason being, when all users can post (not just comment), important information is pushed down and eventually buried. This way, admin can write game recaps and players and users can comment. Plus, fun topics will have a nice thread grow beneath it.
Certain users (coaches, team managers or coordinators) will have higher access so that they can put important stuff in as a new post or updated the events.
So, please, join the fun. Click Register and get started. You will be sent a cryptic password to the email you provide. Once logged in you can then change it to your own password.
Savvy users can subscribe to updates using the RSS feature with their browser. If you want to try RSS, look up in the address bar of your browser, far right. See the RSS icon? Click it and then click to subscribe. You will be sent notices via email when the site is updated with posts or comments.

start of the season

Event Calendar
The event calendar to the left is editable by users with “Author” status, which currently all users. I wanted it to be accessible so that can become a living document, and a preferred stopping place for those looking for up-to-date information on “what’s next” with the team (tournament addresses, game times, hotel info, restaurants, etc.).
Later, I will provide instructions on registration and login.

New Look!
Spirit Fan,
I’ve put together this new look for the Spirits of ‘94 White site so that it is more media and blog oriented. The previous site was very cumbersome to update (hours per game to get the photos published). The new method is very fast (using .mac) and the game recaps will be a snap, as I will post them to this blog.
NOTE: You see the Google Ads on this page? Well, I haven’t figured out how to have them removed. But, on the good side, this blogger site is free. So, my ADvise is to just ignore the ads until I figure out their removal.

Elk Grove Tournaments
    We can win the Elk Grove Tournament this weekend!! We just have to play as a team and keep working our way up like we did last weekend. great job last weekend, guys! Well talk to you Saturday.

Cal Cup
Hey Spirits!
Are we ready for CAL CUP!!!!!
Curtis has taught us a lot of stuff that we HAVE to take with us to Cal Cup.
We did great in our last 2 games!
It was a great way to finish Spring League.
Now lets play our hearts out in Cal Cup!
I know we can do it.
